From an early age, I’ve had a strong and enduring passion for meditation and personal development, nature and spirituality. I was born in England and came to Ireland in the early 1990’s, drawn to the wildness of the land here. This started a transformative ball rolling in terms of living in nature and working with various therapists and showed me first-hand the powerful transformative experience of entering into therapeutic relationship.
I trained & worked as a group facilitator for ‘Concerned Persons’ in an Addiction Treatment Centre. It was here I realised the deep fulfilment I felt from working with others in the service of accessing different ways of responding to life rather than the repetitive painful loops we can sometimes find ourselves in.
I attended an Ecotherapy course (on how to access the healing power of wild places) and also around this time I started working with a Gestalt therapist and realised I wanted to train in Gestalt Therapy and to incorporate this into Nature-based settings. I graduated from the Irish Gestalt Centre (now the Gestalt Institute of Ireland) in 2016. During this time I began teaching Meditation and Mindfulness; my Gestalt training supports me in exploring effective ways to offer what I have learned from a lifetime’s Practice.
